What’s in your “NOW”? You know, your present life. What’s in this moment? We all get so caught up with the past and worrying about the future that we miss the NOW factor. The life that is happening all around us in this day. You know the quote, “Today is a gift that is why they call it the present.” But so often we don’t even acknowledge the gift,  don’t open the present….. much less enjoy it. It’s easy to miss life if we are looking for another one while walking discontented through the one we already have!

Many people miss the NOW. It passes them by because they don’t recognize it. Life is not a place, not a goal, not an event…..it’s a process. It is in the gift of each new day that God has given us. There is wisdom to be found in the gift of NOW.  Joy, smiles, beauty and laughter waiting to be found. Real conversations, hugs and friendship is found in moments of NOW. You can taste, see, feel and hear fully when living in the NOW.

Each day brings has a life of it’s own and has many sides to it. There are the highs and the lows, the serendipities, the disappointments and the victories! And with each days events there is a chance to live, to take another step in  your journey that weaves together the beautiful fabric of your life. Don’t miss the fullness that NOW brings. Open your present, embrace it and live it.

“Surely goodness and love will follow me ALL THE DAYS of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6
